Look carefully at the ship on the right, you will see the moon stuck in the ropes of its sail.




PITCAIRN ISLANDS    1957



Instead of the local school, the teacher's house was pictured on this stamp. So they issued a new one, with a corrected mention.

Not easy to promote your village as a ski paradise, as there is only one seat available, moreover not equipped with a safety bar.

Reversed grand piano - the large side has to be at the left side where the bass notes are.

The buckles of ski boots buckle outward on both feet. This means that the skier on this stamp has two left boots

On some of those stamps, the 3-digit is missing, while the 2 appears twice.

As one of the ropes is not fixed correctly, this box will soon fall.

The Statue of Liberty pictured on this U.S. stamp is not the neoclassical icon on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, but the replica at the New York Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Strange way to honor the winners : it seems better to finish seventh than second.

As the Swiss post office does not accept handmade parcels with a string, the same stamp was issued again , this time with a parcel without string.

A plane is landing while another one is still occupying the landingsstrip.
